"What a lovely place to stay, an amazing find. Dinner in the bar, fish and steak dishes were excellent, tasty, fresh enjoyed with a fine wine and relaxed with cheese and biscuits afterwards. Staff extremely helpful and courteous. A lovely gentlemen serving breakfast cared to explain the local area. Breakfast food also wonderful. Spa facilities used in the morning and then on our way, beautiful property and very relaxing. Only booked for one night but will definetly return. Truly delightful from staff, food, room , every aspect of our stay. Thank you"

"My room was facing in to the shopping centre, which meant it was very noisy and there was “elevator music” being played constantly that I could hear. I couldn’t open my window because of the noise and I could t even open my curtains as there’s a restaurant directly opposite! The air conditioning was non existent. There was also no gym, but one was mentioned when I checked when booking. Bar prices were also extortionate - £16 for a whisky and coke! "

"The whole place needs refurbishment. Beds and bedding was clean but everything else looked about 40 years old. Burn holes in the carpet, cigarette burns on the edge of the bath, wooden fittings in poor condition etc. They have no kitchen (being refurbished?) so no food on the premises. The website does not make that clear."

"Room was comparable to Premier Inn and comfortable all the same. Breakfast was poor. Weak fruit juice and only one flavour, no hash browns left and not much choice. The restaurant was busy and overpriced for pub food. The swimming pool was overcrowded with local people. "
