Its a shame you let one issue with a younger trainee staff member hold such sway over your enjoyment of the visit.We are constantly training new and young staff as hospitality has a high staff turnover in general so its a never-ending task and they all need to start somewhere.Glad you mostly enjoyed your visit to the hotel though.

Sorry we didn't meat our usual standards for your visit.The mattress cover is a clear oversight and would have been rectified if reported.Hair driers are in all rooms in either a dresser drawer or wardrobe shelf depending on the room, again apologies if it had been removed and again would obviously have been replaced if reported.Irons are available on request, if you had called reception we would have brought one over.As with many hotels face cloth's are not part of our standard bathroom laundry offering of hand towels, bath sheet/towels and bath mat.I will look into the staff working during your stay as most of our staff are very friendly and receive positive comments.Sorry we didn't meat your expectations this time.Regards

Hi Josephine,Glad you enjoyed your visit overall.Couple of your points seem unusual, while I cant recall back to the dates you stayed it sounds odd for the bar to be so quiet as we have one of the busier one in town and in general are full with all tables in use most nights. Must have been a random particularly quiet evening.Regarding the rubbish outside, this seems odd as our service area is round to the rear of the hotel and isn't viewable from public areas, the only thing I can think of is perhaps you were in one of the rooms that partly overlooks the courtyard behind the shops next door which is obviously out of our control.But either way glad it didn't spoil your visit.

Hi Phillip,Sorry your visit wasn't up to your expectations, I will look into the issues in the bathroom and about carpet you mention although the room type you book is advertised as a 'Small Double' and access to the courtyard is restricted as it is not private and would allow guests to intrusively overlook into other rooms, making it for everyone's benefit that the courtyard is not accessible.
