The staff were great, the hotel is a little dated but room was comfortable and clean, the thing for me was the smell when we returned to the hotel later in the evening, it was a stale fried food smell that was all through the hotel. Breakfast was good but not sure I’d stay again. "

"Always a great stay at the Red Lion, I had an issue with my Expedia booking and the staff were excellent in helping me sort the issue out. Was so able to get an early checkin. Great location, lots to do and the rooms were lovely. "

"I was using the Park just as a base so would not be fair to comment further on it as a holiday venue, that said there were lots of happy faces, everyone seemed occupied with events of an evening. Child and dog friendly with the former having their own entertainment programme. My mobile home was clean, well equipped for what I needed and I could park outside the accommodation. As I say it was a base and I went out every day, didn't use any of the facilities aside from the bar for a beer and snack and that was good quality and reasonably priced. Staff at reception were helpful and there is a shop on site that, given it has a closed market, seemed very reasonable and well stocked. I had a fun even though I am not sure I was there so to do!"
