"We loved Barefoot! Beachfront traditional Bure, plenty to do, and great food. Was a place to really relax, but still with enough to do for the kids. The extra snorkel and day trips do add up though. Will definitely be back. "

"Our favourite stay in Fiji. Gorgeous bure on the beach surrounded by gardens to make it private. But the best part of this resort is the amazing coral gardens surrounding it. I've snorkelled all around the world and this was probably the best I've done. The resort has resident marine scientists doing conservation, so you can learn and even get involved while you are there. As a Marine biologist myself, I was impressed with what they are doing. You’ll get everything you need just bring your personal towel otherwise they can still get one for you, on the morning you can have a coffee and for the restaurant you have plenty of choice along the road! "Highly suggest bamboo backpackers. Tex, Mary and all of the staff are exceptionally hospitable and friendly, room was very clean. Make sure you go to Kava time and enjoy the kava! And take the fijian cooking class, Excellent spot to stay! Also, please don't touch my papayas."
