"This was simply the best and most lovely hotel stay in Japan ever and I have traveled there many times. The staff are so incredibly kind - it is overwhelming. The rooms are old-fashioned but quaint. The location is fantastic - at the end of the road so nice and quiet. The buffet breakfast was lovely - highly recommended. "Room was massive, double the size of any room we have stayed in in Japan. Pillows had both Western and traditional Japan options. Fiona was encompassed in a fitted sheet (never seen this before) but kept us all warm even when it was sub 0 outside. Room had access to outdoor area, exclusive to the room, which had table and chairs.
