"Location was fabulous and amenities great! On the downside, the bathroom was very small, my husband had to sit sideways and shower drain was not working very well so you ended up standing in water up to your ankles. Also soundproofing could use some help! Upstairs guest sounded like they were moving furniture till midnight!"

"This was a basic 'room only' guest house with no staff in attendance. I didn't book using my mobile phone but on my computer by email. I received my confirmation email. I didn't realise that a follow-up email would contain two codes - one to enter the premises and another to open my room. There was no mention of this on the confirmation email - I expected someone to be there for check-in. I had to phone the owners - no answer - but they did get back to me (quite quickly) with a text...

"Such a beautiful house, and our room was fantastic. We stayed one night and the breakfast was delicious. No problem parking; the grounds were well kept. Jodi welcomed us, and even helped with dinner reservations. I loved the bathrobe touch, and the room was super cute. The price was a bit high, but we only stayed one night, so no discount for multiple nights . We really liked our short stay, and how close it was to walking to a restaurant."

"We were greeted at the door by Liz (the owner along with her partner Lee) and immediately felt very welcomed. She gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant within walking distance and it turned out to be a lovely suggestion. The home is well kept! At breakfast the next morning (which was quite tasty) we chatted with Lee and he gave us helpful perspectives on the area around us. We would have loved to have spent more than just one night!"
