Khách sạn Departure Bay , Nanaimo

"Very good place compared to the price and the area. Large room, clean, but typical old building vibe with carpeted floor, and old building smell. They were not distinctively strong. Coin laundry down stairs could be useful. Good restaurants around the area. Shampoo, Conditioner, and body wash were too small for 2 Queen beds room"

"We got off the ferry around 8:30pm, so it was close. The room was clean, the rest not so much. Breakfast was pitiful. Cold eggs, no bread or begals cold cereal or oatmeal, but no bowls."

"The room was clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful."

"Excellent location in Nanaimo. The rooms are spacious and clean. Love that it’s pet friendly. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in Nanaimo next."

"Old style hotel"

"スタッフは親切にいろいろ教えていただけた。"

"There's absolutely nothing I could say redeeming about this property except for don't stay there. Disgusting on many levels."

"Great location. Room was large and comfortable. Not so much the bathroom. Room was obviously a handicap room as the shower was open and impossible to keep the water from covering the floor. Not sure why we had that room. The floor in the bathroom was marked, the toilet very low."

"Amazing place"

"Excellent stay. Restaurant was very good as well."

"Great front desk staff Monday night when I checked in. Morning breakfast has a great selection and is so clean!"

"Wonderful views from the room's spacious balcony. Welcoming host and easy parking. Location is a little out of way so need car to access bar/restaurants and shops"

"Neat and clean . Good for the price"

"Good place to stay when looking to take in the Nanaimo Riviera. Walk to any number of restaurants, shops, venues, etc. Across the street from the waterfront and walking trails. Older building, but nicely taken care of and bed was comfy. We had a Queen Courtyard. Bit cramped for a long stay, but fine for a couple nights. Recommend any of the King rooms for longer stays."
