"We were really looking forward to staying at Zachary Dunes because we had heard so many great things about it. While the property itself is beautiful, our experience was unfortunately not the best by what seemed to be staffing shortages. Throughout our stay, it took a very long time to get food, drinks, and even pool towels. "Seems like a lot of down and out people live there - maybe some type of military or ice or jail-like housing - concerned about leaving belongings in car No side tables near bed; lights on wall didn’t work, TV remote only went lower in channels, not higher. Weird mop baskets and shoes were outside most of the rooms."

"The property overall was unkept. The pool was very dirty. It looked like it need to be cleaned and there was bird feces throughout the pool area."

"This place was so good for a weekends get away. It was very dusty inside, under the couch and head boards was layers of dust. And we arrived 30 min early and was told there was a $50 early check in fee which was alittle weird. We did not pay that and waited 30 min which ended up with using late to our event. Everything else was soo nice we will stay there again"

"The property in 2 blocks from the beach, which is nice, but the photos on Expedia show beachfront. That was a disappointment. There were no Washcloths or body soap. The whirlpool tub had no plug for the drain or controls for the jets. In other words it didn't work. We enjoyed our stay and the staff was responsive, but we won’t be staying there again."

"Overnight stay and we have been here before. Room clean. We were able to check in earlier than 3pm. I did report to front desk when checking out there was loose door lock that was missing screws and needed to be fixed. It’s safety issue. All amenities were good to have :) frig that was cold, microwave and bathroom soaps to use. Did not like the water faucet because it was by hand movement and took time to kick in. Staff was pleasant. Breakfast hours were early and for quick breakfast was good....
