"Just a lovely period hotel with great staff."

"This is a really fabulous small hotel. The mostly young staff are wonderful and have really good customer service skills. The room we had was large and warm and really nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable with sufficient pillows and some nice cushions.It was apparent that thought had been put in to all aspects of our stay. There were lovely little touches in the room - biscuits, fresh coffee and a cafetière, an extra blanket, and even recycling facilities in the room itself. We had a vegan breakfast in a really comfortable dining room, which was well decorated also. I needed a quiet space for an online meeting and staff did their very best to help to provide this for me. In the end this didn’t work because of my own technology issues and bad planning, which wasn’t the fault of the hotel. The hotel is really close to lots of restaurants and takeaways meaning it was a very handy location."

"the lady that was at the front desk when we checked in and majority of stay was so lovely and welcoming, it really makes a difference being greeted with kindness like that. the room was nice and cozy, plenty of tea for us to get through! whole experience was perfect "
