"It is about 25 mins drive to princess cruise port and a good place for one night stay. I was a bit worried about carrying suitcases upstairs. Susan relied to my question before my trip and offered assistance if needed. There are several local restaurants within 5 mins walking. My husband left one bag in Uber car. Susan helped call our driver and had the bag back on time. Breakfast on the second day was excellent. We had very good time there. I will consider to book again in future."

"Lovely hotel, staff really friendly. Free parking round the back of the hotel with space for about 10 cars. Breakfast was included with our room. The breakfast consists of self serve cereals, fruit juices and water then you order from a menu for the rest of your breakfast. We opted for poached eggs on toast and the poached eggs were perfect. "Lovely, homely hotel just outside the town centre. Easy parking, lovely room and comfortable king bed. We booked the room with breakfast which was good value. Our room was on the second floor, which I didn’t see in the room description. The stairs are quite narrow on the tread, and steep, so if this is an issue check room location before confirming. Otherwise, an excellent place for a New Forest stay."

"Lovely setting, great welcome, food superb, staff friendly and helpful We had the suite (kingfisher) which was an excellent room except for a radiator being stuck on in the bathroom. The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!!
