"Amazing stay as a solo traveller for a night at the Duckworth hotel. Very clean. Staff was very helpful and kind- there was no front desk but it never felt that way. All communications were clear and easy to follow during the time of stay. The best part is it is pretty central so it’s easy to get around on foot. The restaurant downstairs is also a plus with fantastic staff! I would stay here again any day!"

"Lovely private cottage completely finished in knotty pine. Scrupulously clean throughout. Nice large bathroom with great shower. Lots of fluffy towels. Comfortable king sized bed with good pillows. Nice sitting area with TV and couch and chair. The only suggestion is that the good sized fridge lacked ice cube trays and an ice bucket. Also if you visit in hot months (do they exist in Newfoundland?) the windows open to the Main Street so you might have some traffic noise that was no issue...
