"1. There were many dead bees to start off with 2. Bedside lamps didn’t even work so we had to sleep with the main light on. 3. The pressure of the sink in the toilet was disastrous as it was too high and would go everywhere and the water kept turning on and off . 4. The main light kept flickering. 5. There was also no staff in the property and when we faced some problems in the night and we weren’t comfortable to phone them in the night ."

"My room was cosy and provided all that was necessary. Having arrived, by bus, before the check-in time I was greeted in a friendly and professional manner and shown to my room. Breakfast was well catered for, although I may have missed this in the itinerary, apart from there not being a cooked option. All in all a good experience."

"Staff helpful, room huge and quirky. Would stay again."

"lovely old character property in beautiful location, friendly hosts, very accommodating and welcoming, comfortable beds, excellent breakfast, great Indian meals available at very local pub, perfect!! "

"Pros: Convenience Large Room No street noise Good made to order hot breakfast included in price Cons: Rooms definitely need some TLC Can hear occupants upstairs talk and just walking across the floor so suggest ask for an upstairs room"

"The property is lovely and it is UPHILL from the train station - a note to those with heavy suitcases. Also if you’re coming from abroad, make sure to screenshot your door code before arrival as there is no front desk person. Other than that is was one of my favorite places I stayed in England. Breakfast was wonderful and filling! The beds were comfortable, the rooms were cute and you could tell lots of care went into the interior design. I hope to return to lovely Bath and the Tyndall one day!"

"Room was clean and very Quiet! Considering it was a 10 minute walk to Bristol Airport. It was a bit difficult to contact the owner for instructions on how to get into the room. Price was great"

"Very convenient for work trip to Chepstow everything in the centre in walking distance"

"Leigh Anne and Harriet loved our stay at Windylands. Our host Richard was wonderful and we loved talking to him. Our breakfast was delicious. What a wonderful stay!!"

"Great all round"

"Friendly hosts, recommended."

"We 100% recommend the Grays Boutique B&B, as our stay here was truly delightful. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable with adequate pillows and additional blankets in the cupboard (as well as a fan and slippers). The bathroom was equipped with a shower, and provided body wash, shampoo, hand soap, all the towels you need, shower cap, flannels and dressing gowns. There was complimentary water, as well as the usual kettle with hot drink options. The view from our...

"Beautiful guest house and great location. About a 10 minute walk to town centre, parking available was a great asset. Room was large and decorated to a high standard. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast plentiful and a good range of options to suit all tastes. Staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend Leighton House to friends and family."

"*AVOID AT ALL COSTS* We booked a stay in the Superior Room. We never received the code to get into the building. Upon attempting to open the door without the code, it was simply unlocked! (No security.) Had to call the property manager for room key access. Upon inspecting our room, we spotted the following: Bathroom: tub rotting, grout and cocking in series disrepair, ventilation fan broken, ceiling bubbling, toilet valve broken, two mosquitos and two small flies in bathroom, cobwebs, spring...

"Our stay was lovely thank you. The room and food were great."
