"Property is at the edge of town across from an abandoned former hotel. One can walk into town but perhaps not such a good idea late at night. One has to temper one's expectations. this is a "LODGE" (says it in the name). So, if one is ok with the rustic kind of lodge one finds in resort areas for fishing and hiking then you will think it fine. There is a place for your own grilling (bring the necessary items to do it), decent size refrigerator in the room and plenty of countertop space including...

"The hotel was booked solid the night I stayed but it was quiet throughout the night. Breakfast was well above average for a hotel at this level. Most restaurants in the area close between 8-9, so that's a consideration for travelers. The room was nicely decorated in a Southwest style and while packed with everything (except a coffee maker), it wasn't cramped. I appreciated the larger refrigerator with larger freezer and a safe. Shower was superb."
