"The staff was a great help in holding my luggage before check-in and providing directions on how best to navigate my early morning flight. The bed was extremely comfortable and I had a great night's sleep."

"Excellent service, grounds are immaculate, interesting history. Our room was very nice."

"We had a fantastic stay! Our “standard double” room was better than expected, comfortable bed, spacious, great bath and good water pressure in shower. The choice and quality of food both at breakfast and dinner was excellent, well priced and very tasty. Perhaps the stand out feature of the Beaumont is the staff, without exception..their friendliness and attention leant to a welcoming and relaxed stay."

"Only saw reception staff to check in which was quite late after a wedding. Castle grounds are superb but parking is tricky. We stayed outside in the coach block only one space left well away from our room. The room is very small but clean and served its purpose for a night stay. Obviously very old,the stairs were very steep to the second floor which I didn’t realise I thought it was all ground floor level, which was tricky with mobility issues. Nice to have a later checkout of 11am though."

"Clean and tidy hotel. Location was perfect and price reasonable."

"The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble Breakfast was excellent (especially the croissants)"

"I was pleasantly surprised at the high quality and spaciousness of my room (10). Staff were friendly and professional; the assistant at breakfast was first rate in supporting a substantial number of guests. And the Craster kippers were excellent. The one thing missing at breakfast was a bowl of fresh fruit. Dinner was well prepared and presented. All in all a very good experience at the Duke of W."
