"Ocho Bungalows is a beautiful place to stay in the vibing Tamarindo, Costa Rica. The aesthetic is gorgeous and there are such beautiful details in the rooms and common areas. The location is primo. "The staff was amazingly friendly, the food was wonderful and the only problem was in the steep climb to our room! A staff member took my bag to the room for me so all I had to do was get up there myself (luckily) I am sure younger people would not have a problem."

"This is a difficult review to write. Maybe you’ve had the experience of being a border in a family home, where you developed mixed sympathies with your landlords, engaging with them on a social level a feeling part of the family. In this “hostel”, we seemed to be the only tourists in a group of long time boarders— during rainy season tourists are scarce. So you get to feel the rhythm of the home, and understand the economic precarity of those you live among. Marisol, our host, was very inviting...

"Nous avons un super séjour ! Les logements sont géniaux, tout comme les extérieurs ! La piscine est super agréable et nous avons pu voir les singes hurleurs pendant qu'on prenait notre (très bon) petit déjeuner. Encore merci à nos hôtes pour leur gentillesse et leurs conseils !

"Tout était impeccable ; la chambre, la piscine,… Impossible de se sentir plus dans la jungle qu’à cet endroit! C’était magique de prendre son café dans le hamac ou se laver dans la douche extérieure. Le déjeuner était succulent et différent des « classiques » du coin.
La plage de Samara était à 5 minutes de voiture: toujours facile de se stationner. Honnêtement, la tranquillité valait la distance.
Excellent service, très accommodants.
