"Nice spot right on the beach—you can literally step out and watch the sunset, and hear the waves from your room. The hotel manager even stepped in personally to help us, which was a nice touch. Super secure place, and the staff are very friendly and always trying to help. It is a bit pricey for the level of the hotel, but that seems to be Costa Rica in general."

"Excellent staff. The room was a bit worn out, especially for a 5-star hotel. The internet that operates WiFi, TV and phone was out for about 24 hours, not a good experience and the hotel didn’t make any accommodations. For about $1000 a night, we expected a better experience than that. Again, most of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful."

"We stayed for 2 nights. The resort is very cool with a lot of nature right in the middle of the jungle. The rooms are nice. The food is expensive and mostly just okay. There are a lot of activities to do there, but you are a captive audience and excursions are quite expensive. Transportation out there is a bit difficult, be prepared for a long Uber ride. The service at the Sunset Bar was abysmal, the first night we went there they forgot my pizza I had ordered. The second night we went we were...
