"Le chemin d'accès en sortant de la route 1 est assez difficile, mais nous avons été bien accueillis et l'hébergement a répondu à nos attentes. Heureusement que nous n'étions pas en camping car il y avait énormément de mouches!"

"Es gibt verschiedene Bungalows. Unserer war nagelneu und außen noch nicht ganz fertig. Innen dafür sehr schön und alles neu und extrem sauber.
Sehr umfangreiches Frühstücksbuffet und gegen Aufpreis auch Abendessen buchbar. Sehr zu empfehlen!"

"One of the most thoughtful room furnishings hotel/guesthouse I came across, all to keep guests comfortable and having privacy.
Dinner menu was sufficient and delicious, breakfast was pretty standard but effort is definitely put in making it.
Location is fantastic, away from bustling touristy roads and I even managed to capture a few Northern Lights during the one night stay."

"My husband and I stayed at this property in July 2026. We had planned to go whale watching in Húsavík, but our tour was postponed, so we didn’t arrive until after 11:30 PM. Despite the late hour, the owner waited for us and kindly showed us around the house.
The place was spotlessly clean—honestly cleaner and more comfortable than my own home! There are two bathrooms: a spacious one with a toilet, shower, and bathtub, and a smaller one with a sink and toilet.
