"Very convenient location, close to train station and convenient stores, restaurants. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are pretty comfortable and clean. One thing is if you want to use the dryers in the facility, do in small batches, big loads take a long time to dry. But there is a laundromat right next to it that you can use. They have free shuttle bus to Golden temple and bamboo forest, we love this service.We have a great time here ."

"We were a family of 4 traveling, so we had 2 adjoining rooms. The hotel is well situated to walk to restaurants and historical shopping areas. Even though cleaning services are not provided every day, their system to exchange towels is very efficient. We enjoyed our stay and would use APA again."

"The best thing about this hotel is the location. Right outside your door you can walk to the market or subway. The onsen is very nice and well maintained. The property backs onto a cemetery/ temple which is interesting aand quiet. The room I booked had two beds that were side by side. One was extremely hard to access because it was right next to a wall. I disliked their bed, it was too hard and the pillows were horrible. I don’t think I got a good sleep the entire time I stayed there. The staff...

"Everything was exceptional. There were so many amenities and the staff was so patient with our very limited Japanese. They even let us check our bags after checkout so we could leave later, and arranged for a shuttle to Kyoto Station! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is going to Kyoto."
