"The positives here were that the price was reasonable, that they were a pet-friendly hotel, and that they didn’t charge extra for my dog. The staff were somewhat helpful. The first thing I did was try to use the restroom off the lobby after my long drive, but the toilet had “stuff” in it and would not flush. Also, the closest place with grass for my dog to pee in was about 25-30 yards in any direction from the front entrance, which was hard for me to get to quickly enough with my new knee and my dog urgently needing to pee. Again, its reasonable price and that it was pet-friendly were its major benefits to me. "
Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Danville by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Staff was very helpful
I think if i had one thing to mention would be the parking. Nothing that is the hotels fault in any way. As I understand and have been a part of on the road working teams. We have a hard time finding a parking space as there were several working trucks parked which take more space.
Still overall very food and will recommend to stay at."
"Ony two of us, and we never had enough linens. when we asked at the desk, they were either out or in the laundry. Many times the excuse was "we're fully booked". There should be enough linens for those situations. the seat on our toilet was dirty when we checked in. One morning there was very little for breakfast... but someone had "gone to the store" to get more food. No tissue in the room upon arrival. Not sure whether to cite the onsite staff or the management/owners for these issues."
Days Hotel & Conference Center by Wyndham Danville
2/10 Terrible
"Elevators would randomly stop working. No operable restroom for quest of 1st floor. A/C / Heat did not work. Toilet kept backing up. The carpet in the room stunk. The staff was overwhelmed. Too many negatives to list."
"They canceled my reservation 12 hours before I was to check in. Something about no hot water. Apparently there aren’t any 24hr plumbers in the area…
Never even got to the hotel. I had to scrounge for a room in a town that had 1000 extra people arriving for a special event."
