"I'm not sure how this property got 8 stars, it is more like a 6 or 7 star hotel. Things like a/c, elevator, treadmill were not well-maintained. The room was clean, bedding smelled slightly like potato chips or some kind of fried food. Gym equipment was rusted and having issues due to high humidity and no adequate drying by a/c in gym room. Staff were very helpful during out late check-in."

"A nice, comfortable stay overall. The hotel is a little dated in places, but it was clean, the staff was friendly, and everything was well maintained. The standout was definitely the complimentary breakfast—it had a great variety, was well stocked, and was one of the better hotel breakfasts I’ve had. I’d happily stay here again."

"I rated it all as excellent. It was an excellent price point, staff, grounds and hotel was in great shape. I mean come on it was a free buffet of the normal hotel breakfast. It wasn't excellent but it got us through until lunch. No complaints would definitely stay again."

"This was my first time staying at a Best Western Plus, but if this stay is a reflection of other sites, it is not my last time! There were 10 of us in two rooms and we could have had more. The rooms are very clean, spacious, and there are plenty of options to sleep. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The kids had breakfast and it was a normal breakfast. The location was great. I plan to stay here again whenever we visit Alabama."

"As the hotel was clean the elevator wasn't working, the pool was out of order the shower in our room was broken and the coffee maker in our room was broken so we had to buy $11.00 coffee down stairs no breakfast in the lobby we had to buy expensive breakfast from the Starbucks in the lobby as the staff was very apologetic still was a terrible experience my mother inlaw had just gotten out the hospital had to climb steps"

"Staff was friendly and helpful. My room had trouble cooling but it was very hot out and understandable. My door wouldn’t shut tight unless pulled very hard and body wash was empty upon arrival. Otherwise the breakfast and 24/7 coffee was wonderful and I loved the seating area in the lobby to meet one on one for my work travels."

We were coming from the Tulsa, Ok. area but, could not make it due to circumstances beyond our control out on the road that put us way behind ( weather, primarily TWO wrecks that brought traffic to a standstill for long periods of time )."
