"We had a very pleasant overnight stay and will choose this hotel again at some point in the future. The room was large, modern and very clean. The hotel is easily accesible on the East side of the town in very pleasant grounds."

"Our room was a ground floor Deluxe room lake view with balcony as we took our dog with us. The balconies to these rooms are not individual to each room, it is a wrap around walkway, which is lovely, but not secure if you take a dog. There is no air conditioning in the rooms only a fan was provided. Room was spotlessly clean, bed was extremely comfortable. View from the room was very beautiful and tranquil. Staff very obliging and attentive. We had an evening meal in The Boat House, and was allowed to take our dog. You will be seated in area with no view of the lake, the view you will have is of the car park if you take a dog with you. This area is en route to the toilets too. Food and service was very good. A 10% service charge was automatically added to the bill. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel. Bar - service was very good. It was very busy due to the football and people attending conferences, but service was quick at the bar and it was a good atmosphere. Our dog was allowed in the bar with us. The hotel was very busy, as it has a large conference Centre attached to it. The grounds of the hotel were well looked after. Parking - had to park on one of the further car parks which was about a 5 minute walk away. You can drop off and pick up outside of the reception to save struggling with luggage. I would definitely come and stay at this hotel again."

"The rooms are beautifully presented and the amenities were really nice. For a travel stop it was very convenient and the staff are friendly. The carpets in the rooms are suffering from wear and tear and could do with a better clean. The rooms needs a bit more of a clean in general. The shower also started dripping in both rooms (which were at other ends of the property) at around 3am which woke us up. We found it a bit strange to be put in rooms in completely different buildings despite booking together and sharing a last name. My mum was on the ground floor room and found it very noisy. The stay was perfectly fine but I think it depends on which room you get."

"Our stay was good. Staff are really helpful, they just smile to you especially the ones working in the kitchen. The cleanliness, good, especially in the activities areas. The swimming pool, sauna, and the toilets are well-maintained. The food we ordered for lunch was tasty, the ribs and brisket, unfortunately they serve it warm. It's like, just reheat from the microwave for few seconds. But it was okay. We like the taste. The one I love the most despite imperfection, is the coffee. They serve Starbucks. Also, coffee in breakfast is good beans. 😊 Overall, just 4star."

"Centrally located hotel in town - near bus stop, and many shops. Bar/restaurant area is spacious and cosy. Rooms have adequate airconditioning/heating, coffee pod machine, and real mini milk bottles which is a lovely touch. Bathroom is renovated/clean, with quality amenities. Bed is comfortable- and staff friendly. Would highly recommend staying here!"
