First day, they ran out of bacon, hot water for tea and bread. Second day, they ran out of bagel, Mild for coffee and hot water for tea again. They had limited fruits"

"The staff were really nice, the breakfast was good. The double beds were uncomfortable. They dipped in the middle and we could feel the springs. We did not have a full roll of tp in the bathroom and had to go ask for it at the front desk. We were in an adjoining room and could hear the people in the next room very clearly."

"The room was okay. The curtains didn’t shut all the way—Lamp next to bed did not work. I forgot my expensive “Owala” water bottle. When I realized it was missing—which was ONLY half hour after check out—they told me it was not in the room. I know for a fact it was—left on nightstand next to bed. I just said to girl on the phone I hope your cleaning people enjoy it. Must need it more than me. Very disappointed in the dishonesty of this hotel. Will not be staying here again or giving a referral...

"The Stannard Inn is an absolute jewel box on the Connecticut shoreline! It is a beautifully decorated coastal chic Captain’s home with thoughtfully appointed guests rooms and public areas. The Innkeepers were so deliberate with the amenities they offered and we could not have been more comfortable or felt more welcome. Will definitely be back again"

"The bedding smelled and the mattress was old. The rugs in the hallways were old and smelled . There was an odor throughout the motel. The staff was friendly and the price was reasonable but I will never book an Econo Lodge again. Extremely disappointed"

"While the room was clean, the property is extremely run down. Water damage, cracks, and holes in hallway ceilings. Renovations seem cheaply done. They didn't use fitted sheets on the bed, just tucked a flat sheet around the mattress so it came off while you sleep."

"Let me start off by saying I’ve stayed in budget motels before and wasn’t expecting anything remotely extravagant. With that said, this was the dirtiest, poorly kept place I almost stayed in. It was so bad we left within 20 mins of arriving. There were what looked like bed bug stains in the sheet (aside from other dark markings), the “nonsmoking” room reeked of smoke and had a plastic bag over the smoke detector… and you can tell it had never been vacuumed before.
