"The location was convenient. However, the room was tiny and difficult to enter with our bags (up a narrow staircase). The shower lacked towel or grab bars. Cold breakfast only."

"We enjoyed our stay overall. There were just a couple of little things that could do with some attention. The main entrance door was hanging off when we arrived, and it was still the same throughout our stay, which doesn't create the best first impression. Aside from that, our room was lovely, and the breakfast was excellent – definitely one of the hotel's biggest strengths. The staff were all friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. "The truest test of a review is would we stay there again? The answer to that is sadly a no. Nothing particularly wrong, just not really a good value all things considered in the end. The property is well positioned in the city for access to grocery, chain restaurants, coffee houses and the #8 bus. There is a busy street, particularly popular on weekends nearby. "The room is good and of a reasonably high standard. There are however two major challenges. The room was on the top floor which from the car park is three flights of stairs. A lot when you’re carrying several large bags and clothes for a wedding. The second big issue is the hall lights on a sensitive room sensor. There is no way to switch this off or lights off.
