"Not many shops nearby but there is a bus stop right in front of the property that will take you into the city center. However, be sure to either have a leap card or cash. The busses don’t accept debit or credit cards."

"Within half an hour of checking in, I left to catch a car and tripped and broke my foot on a small piece of metal in the parking lot that is meant to stop the gates. I had the car take me to the ER where I was x-rayed and the break was confirmed. I was keeping the hotel informed and eventually got a response that I could speak to a manager upon my return. As an employee myself, I asked for a copy of the incident report upon my return. When I returned at 5 or 6am, there was no manager to speak...

"The hotel is impressive. It's fun to stay in a castle.The breakfast buffet is extensive and the dining area is beautiful. The hotel has its own parking lot and you will need a car to get around this area. There isn't easy access to public transportation.With a car, it's just a 10-15 minute drive to Dublin City Center, Howth, or the Airport. I recommend visiting Howth, if you have time. It is a village on the coast with a beautiful cliff walk and several pubs, restaurants, markets and boutiques."

"Unit was clean and well maintained. Communication needs improvement however. I booked and pre paid months in advance, explaining to them via email that I booked the night before arrival so we could have a 6:00 am check in. They did confirm my request and apparently put a note on my file. When we arrived at check in our room had been canceled as a no show. Thankfully they were able to get us rebooked in a comparable room. Not a great start to our trip. "

"The property is modern, and in a quiet area roughly 15 minutes walk from the city centre, which we found ideal. The staff were absolutely fantastic and nothing was too much trouble, they arranged us taxis quickly when we needed them and tended to any other requests we had throughout our stay There were shops, bars and restaurants within very close walking distance. The spa was lovely and a fantastic way to relax after long days exploring the city, and it was great that we didn’t need to arrange...

"Great room. Clean and modern. Enough plugs and USB outlets for my partner and i to recharge all of our device's. Even had 1 USA standard plug on the desk. You can control lights,TV and heating through the TV remote. Touch pads near entrance and besides for lighting and heat as well. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location is great as well. Christ church a block away and The Temple bar was 3 blocks away. Dublin was great. When we go back will stay here again without hesitation."
