"Lovely boutique guest house in expansive rural setting. The hosts go to great length to make guests comfortable and welcome, including a delicious morning breakfast. GPS provides great assistance in the final mile or so of arriving. Do not be alarmed finding yourself on gravel road. That will all pay off in the tranquility of your lodging here. Also, and perhaps counterintuitively, you will be close to some exceptional dining and well located to visit many vineyards. Would not hesitate to...

"What beautiful place to stay with so much history. We learned a lot about wine & tried our first flights. The staff are so friendly. We will be back."

"We stayed at Franziska Haus for two nights. While the property is beautiful and the host is lovely and welcoming, the overall experience falls well short of the luxury standards advertised. One of the biggest disappointments was the lack of soundproofing. We could hear practically everything happening in neighboring rooms throughout the night, with noise starting as early as 6:30 AM, including footsteps, vacuuming, cleaning, and general activity. "Brandon was incredibly patient and helpful with the harried leader of a small group with no connectivity to review instructions. And he extended happy hour just for us. It is things like that which make a stay special. Breakfast was yummy. Bed in Suite # 2 was heaven. The space is a little funky so have an open mind. Great mini adventure I wish I could have extended."

"Great stay! The house is well maintained. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location easy walking to charming restaurants and interesting shops. LOVED the extensive breakfast options. Friendly neighborhood."

"A beautiful serene landscape compliments the beautifully decorated and very comfy rooms. Beds and pillows were divine. Breakfast was epicurean."

"Cheri and Mike are wonderful hosts. We enjoyed our stay. The private tour with the history of the house was a huge plus. Cheri and Mike are proud of the historical significance of the house. The renovations Cheri and Mike did, preserved the heritage. The location is wonderful, walking distance from "downtown" Roseburg. We want to come back. Our room was perfect! Clean and had an in room sink. I loved the sound machines in each room, it helped me sleep better. I wish we could have had another...

"Such a great stay, warm and welcoming host. I only had one issue and the host took care of it immediately. The breakfast was amazing and the coffee was hot which was huge for me. My first B&B stay but definitely not my last."
