"Su the owner was very accommodating and was flexible on our arrival time. Helpful reception was efficient and even showed us to the room. Spacious, clean and had all the usual facilities. Had the evening meal which was tasty and filling. Price was compatible with other local establishments. There is also free wi fi and limited free parking. A big bonus is that it is only a five minute walk into the city centre. Very enjoyable stay."

"The property was clean and the room had nice sea views. The rooms are in a converted house next to the Indian restaurant at the site. They are as mentioned in the description accessed via stairs .. quite a few although was offered help with bags. The main negative factor is the location. We arrived and witnessed an altercation on the street in the mid-afternoon with a women punched in the face. The police attended. We looked for other food options but only fish and chips available nearby....

"Lovely staff and excellent location. Rooms look as though they have been recently refurbished. Cold breakfast selection not as good as it used to be but good variety of cooked breakfasts on offer. I found the restaurant very cold in the evening but fine in the morning. Plenty of supplies in the room, tea, coffee, water, biscuits and toiletries etc."

"This was a great find. As per previous reviews, the staff go beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. This business is clearly not just a financial operation. It is a passion. A 'Labour if love ' Wonderful welcome and helpful staff Evening meal was DELICIOUS (highly recommend the salmon tagliatelle) Breakfasts freshly cooked and tasty Excellent value all round Superb location too 👌"

"Everything was better than expected. The kitchen was under renovation, boding well for an even better experience when complete. The pub is popular and lively, with fun, live music performed on the weekend, Truly a gem on Holy Island, with easy access to many must-see sights. The service staff were friendly, attentive and accommodating, and the rooms are large and comfortable. Definitely recommend!"

"The property was run down and I wouldn’t have expected to pay over £100 a night for the stay. The front entrance wasn’t in use due to maintenance. Although very cute, the owners young children were in the public areas and their toys in the foyer. The hotel was close to the pier which we wanted to visit."

"Cabin was awesome everything was spot on. Location was ideal for us for our weekend. Credit to the owners. My Girlfriend loved the horses. The views are amazing so peacefull. Couldnt belive how dark it was at night with no light polution. So much to see and do locally ran out of time. The Hot tub was great the hamper was thoughtfull. So peacefull. Best stay away we have had going to be hard to beat. Will be back again soon. "
