It is an underrated and with high security level hotel at Fukushima, 15 minutes alway from Umeda and Osaka stations. Clean and tidy, the room for twin bed is large enough to open two large luggages at the same time. The environment and interior are all great. There is a bar at the ground floor which can provide some option when you are thirsty, hotel has also provided two free bottle of water everyday too. There are a lot of food option nearby too. We had a fire situation (should be a small fire) in between the stay. There is an alarm with clear announcement saying what’s going wrong in the hotel, we found that it is really important and that’s something we may miss usually. Safety is importance and a large amount of fireman had arrived to hotel in 10 minutes. I love this hotel and cannot believe the standard is that high with this price point and will definitely be back real soon

Perfect Osaka hotel

Really comfortable and well located! We were on our honeymoon, and they gave us additional drink tickets to celebrate. If you’re going to the World Expo, the location is great — it’s in a chiller part of Osaka and not far from the expo site. The room itself was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were great! Highly recommend staying here.

The vibe of the property is lively and you have plenty of room at lobby to hang out. The staffs were super friendly. Room was clean and well maintained. Although the space is limited but was sufficient. The breakfast was ok, not crazy a lot items but good quality.

Lovely stay at Moxy

We had a lovely stay at Moxy. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay nice. Huge plus for laundry machines. The breakfast has everything you need, but I’ve seen better buffets elsewhere. It worked well for us anyway. Location close enough to Osaka station and Fukushima station is convenient. Will definitely stay here again.

Cool vibe and friendly staff. Location is a bit far from major tourist spots but it seems like everything in Osaka is spread out decent value for money. Room was a small but clean.

Other than the fact that this place is so brilliantly decorated, the staff at the Moxy treated us so well. Mai and Antonio have to get a mention as well as Chef Sergio for hooking me up with a late night off menu grilled cheese. And there is free Pong and a very cool old school Super Mario Pinball machine. Amenities are great and access to Umeda is walkable and the food options around Fukushima are insane. Get coffee at the wEstern cafe near the 7-11. You won't regret it.

I booked this hotel because on the Internet, (1) it looks like it’s close to JR lines ( Osaka Station and Fukushima Station ); (2) they have a queen bed which I found rare when looking at hotels; and (3) they have free breakfast. This delivered on all three plus more. The vicinity is very clean and trendy and the staff are very accommodating. Check in and check out was a breeze and if you ask them how you can get a taxi to a train station, they will call one for you. We very much enjoyed our stay here. Thank you!

Generally clean. Size of room is very comfortable and if travel guests are from North America, this is a good room size. The best part of the stay is the lack of waiting for the elevator. Spent close to zero minutes waiting for an elevator during my 5 night stay. Not the closest to transit but it's generally convenient enough as a major station (Osaka-Umeda) is within walking distance.

The hotels location was great in regards to access to both Osaka Station and Fukushima Station. From either train station, you can get anywhere in Osaka and outlining areas quite easily. The area is entirely walkable with tons of eateries and bakeries to choose from. We used Osaka as our mainstay and did day trips to other cities and it worked out perfectly. The staff were great… so friendly and offered many suggestions of places to eat and see. They were extremely helpful making phone calls to help us locate a bag we left behind on the Shinkansen from Haneda to shin-Osaka after our extremely long international flight plus the train ride in. We collected our bag, the next morning, with all items (big and small) accounted for, thanks to their help. Moxy rocks!! Highly recommend

Excellent stay, loved it.

I was pleasantly surprised to be honest. When I first book this hotel, I worried about the room size (only 20 sq M). But when we arrived, I was surprised by the room layout. Yes, it is small, but it feels way bigger than its stated size. They have a very clever designer. I don't expect much amenity from a 3/4 star hotel but it provided everything needed (even pajamas though we didn't use it). Staff are proactive and friendly. Have to mention Mina, she told us she only started in April, but she was really helpful, a big kudo. The day we left she came to talk to us to say goodbye and shake our hands. What a pleasant surprise! I strongly recommend Moxy Shin Umeda to others traveling to Osaka. Good experience and wont' break the bank. Oh, and it is also very convenient. 5 to 8 minutes walk to Fukushima station (Osaka loop line). Or 10 to 15 minutes walk to Osaka station.
