"Just stayed one night on the way to Edinburgh and it was great! Our room (in the old school house behind the pub) was small but had everything we needed including a very comfortable bed. We had dinner in the pub and the food was fantastic (and great "desert cocktail" too!) Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Excellent stop off!"

You can hear bird chirping, no road noise, and the gardens are beautiful. The food was fantastic. I can't say enough about the staff. They are amazing and everything you wished a hotel staff would be. They catered to us like we were the only ones there.
