Floors could have been cleaner as could Bar area. Convenient parking 5 mins walk away at Cabot Circus multi storey. Useful to note that the Hotel Entrance is on Cave Street ( off Portland Square) Not Portland Square itself."

"Request on Expedia form for early arrival was not communicated. Bathroom was not clean, loo unflushed. Wi fi was not given on arrival Phone contact to reception was not clear on the room phone When we dialled zero no one answered despite several attempts But A comfortable bed and sheets and handy phone charging Reception helpful "

"Breakfast was excellent. I liked the safe and the fridge in the room. A couple of things about the room could be improved: 1. Add a little rubber stopper to the handle of the door into the bathroom. Very small, nearly invisible but would prevent the door banging into the bathroom wall. 2. The top left hand drawer of the little table was not very well put together and seemed in danger of falling apart when opened. This is really information for the hotel rather than for other travellers."

"Complained about the air con ticking constantly in our room (720) for the guy behind the reception to laugh at me. He stood there like he wasn’t going to do anything. I asked if we could switch rooms, upgrade rooms .. nothing. He told me we would have someone come to the room and look .. again, nothing. "Stayed here with my toddler, and while this is a solid 3-star property—no real surprises—I wanted to share a few notes specifically for parents traveling with young children. The room was very clean, and nothing major stood out as a safety concern for a curious toddler. I felt comfortable letting my daughter roam around the room and the hotel itself. "The room was mostly clean, just the edges of the carpets needed a bit extra but this seems to be quite common in hotels. We was surprised at how big it was. It's a bit dated but was perfect for one night. The bathroom was a good size. Again needs a little tidying up in places but overall was good. Shower was very powerful. Breakfast was great. All the usual choices, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages etc, then cheese, ham, fruit, yoghurt, cereal, toast, bagels, mini doughnuts, tea, coffee, juices....

"During a 5 night stay twice the cleaning team overlooked cleaning our room. Parking arrangement very good. Overall the cooked breakfast was not hot. The quantity of pre/cooked eggs was excessive for the speed that they were required, and looked unappealing. Perhaps the hotel could consider cooking the eggs to order"
