"I had to rate it excellent because i cannot criticize this lovely hotel. However, i was very disappointed because you eliminated the shuttle service to the airport. I have counted on that for years, and it was the main reason i chose The Marriott. I know Lyft and Uber are a sign of the times and i better get used to it. There are many lovely places to stay and without your shuttle service i expect to explore other locations."

Throughout our stay, the front desk staff (Mike, another young man, and Linda) were friendly, helpful and responsive (explaining heat and fan controls, providing casual restaurant recommendations, providing map of Palm Springs and the area, etc.). Good coffee, hardboiled eggs, muffins, yogurt, cereal, milk for continental breakfast. Smaller classic hotel centered around attractive courtyard and small pool. "

"Orbit In is for anyone seeking a throwback to the mid century modern era. It is an older property with fairly basic amenities. Stayed in the Albert Frey room which had a fireplace, outdoor shower, and record player. Bed was comfortable. There is a cocktail hour by the pool. Staff was very nice. No breakfast included. There is a small hot tub and fire pit for winter nights. Great location and very walkable to most of downtown Palm Springs. "
