"Very friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable rooms. Extremely clean. Lovely lounge, bar and dining areas as well as outside areas in the garden. Garden in need of a bit of TLC but is beautiful. Food was really nice both dinner and breakfast."

"Gorgeous old pub in a village setting. Lots of parking. The accommodation buildings are set apart from the pub, and our room was beautiful. Breakfast is served in the pub restaurant- but the landlord will deliver a jug of milk in the morning for use with the tea making facilities. Just make sure the sign outside your door is set to “yes please” for milk! No plastic in sight. We ate at the pub in the evening and the food and service were very good too. "

"This ia an amazing place. From the minute we wallked in to the minite we left the levels of service was impeccable. Lovely rooms, Top class Spa and pools. "Food was excellent and service in the restaurant very good. The overall ambience was very pleasant. Our room was disappointing. It was small with no seat other than the bed. Wardrobe and drawer provision were inadequate even for a 2 night stay. The lack of parking is a serious problem with a 800 yard walk to pick up the car unacceptable to many of your guests, but it's a problem that won't go away."

"Beautiful rooms and hotel overall. Seemed very understaffed which led to a worne out yet business like/ brisk attitude of reception staff. They did not demonstrait any interest in me our my stay.....just delivered information without a smile or friendly service both at arrival or departure. "We’ve stayed here a number of times when visiting Fowey. The rooms are lovely and beautifully decorated, the beds are really comfy the sea views are wonderful. Our room this time was suffering from some damp with the wallpaper peeling off a bit but it didn’t really detract from our stay. Breakfast is always lovely, although there was a very large loud group and perhaps it would be better if they were offered one end of the restaurant so the rest of us had a more relaxed experience! "

"Amazing place for family with younger children. Our children - 8,6& 2 loved their stay here. We swam every day, attempted crabbing, played in the playground and attended all of the activities put on by the den staff. Kids loved mocktail & jewellery making and they put on a great Easter egg hunt for the kids too. They also attended the den sessions and were happy each time.
