"The hotel itself is beautiful, the staff is very courteous and the premises are gorgeous. It’s nice to have a volcanic water pool even though in my opinion it should not be so hot. Both my girlfriend and I got a little dizzy after a while. I do recommend staying there though. The breakfast is fantastic! Location as well."

"We loved our stay at Hotel Volcan Verde. This hotel used to be known as Arenal History Inn up through about three months ago. It's near downtown La Fortuna, and tons of restaurants and shops are within an easy walk. With that being said, the hotel cabins are just off of the street enough that you feel like you are in a different world. (FYI, many hotels in this region, some of which are very pricey and opulent, are nowhere close to the downtown of La Fortuna.) There is also tons of parking spots...

The hotel notified Expedia, but Expedia advertised the room anyway and charged me for it. This is the same day a car I had reserved with Expedia with Hertz was absent when I arrived to rent it. "The apartment we stayed in was very clean and the staff were helpful and courteous. The pool was lovely. The locatiin was great, very central and clise to restaurants, grocery store and shops. A quick uber ride to the hot springs. I woukd highly recommend Villas Fortuna Boutique Hotel."

"Room was beautiful, view was beautiful, gardens were beautiful. Love this hotel. The springs were lovely. This location is perfect, whether you want to use the hotel's springs or visit one of the other big complexes like Baldi or Paradise, which are a couple of mins walk away! The staff were lovely, shout-out to Julio, who was a star - kind and helpful. <3 As a lone traveller, it was great, but it would be a lovely stay for families too. Hope to return someday. :)"

"Our stay at Calalun was perfect. Calalun was in the perfect location, was private surrounded by gorgeous landscape and a beautiful view of the volcano. The owners were very accommodating and made sure our stay was comfortable and perfect. The bed was comfortable and the quaint apartment was clean and modern.
