"This hotel was perfect for 2 of us that came to town for an event at UNI (3 minute drive/20 minute walk for reference). The price was right, the exterior is nice & well kept, and the interior was consistent with that. Overall very clean, pleasant staff including the housekeepers we met in the elevator. Another review mentioned noise from the highway, but we did not find this to be a problem. (We were on the highway side too). Water pressure in the shower is great, there were plenty of towels...

"I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was easily one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room was extremely dirty and rundown—it honestly shouldn’t even be available for guests. There was visible mold on the towel racks, and the overall condition of the room was unacceptable. The pillows were paper-thin and uncomfortable, and nothing about the space felt clean or maintained. "I really like the area Bolder's is located. I'm relocating to Waterloo for work & used this hotel while I searched for housing. The staff at check-in was friendly, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and property offers free parking. This location is just off the interstate & the noise of traffic/trucks going by was no issue. They offered coffee, breakfast & WiFi. Would stay here again. "

"Ok, for a discount room. The room was clean but the building was not maintained well, the breakfast was pretty much nonexistent. The staff was friendly."

"The property condition was okay. There was a humming noise in our room which was quite disturbing. I think it was the ice machine that was next to our room. The guest above us kept getting up throughout the night and kept stamping. This lasted into the early hours of the morning I’m not sure what was their problem. The heating system was noisy as well. Despite the noise issued expressed, the hotel was okay."

Shower leaked out on the floor due to water shooting out of the shower headin wierd streams and tub would not drain. Stain on bedding and towels were grey. Tv would not turn on.
