"Great place our stay was awesome"

"Water pressure was a little low and internet was weak"

"Diving was outstanding,"

"We loved our stay at Puerta Azul. They have their own dock to start snorkeling and kayaking from, as well as boat pickups of you prefer tours to reach farther destinations. Breakfast onsite was great with a weekly rotating menu. One thing to note is that the onsite restaurant is the only convenient but expensive option for lunch and dinner. The main road is not comfortably walkable, although we did do it a few nights for more variety. The front desk can also call taxis for you. The reef...

"Room very clean staff very nice and helpful the A/C works perfectly"

"I enjoyed having my own cabana and the breakfast was amazing."

"Great place to stay and the people were fantastic!"

"Las Verandas was a great choice. The room was beautiful and spacious with a wonderful balcony and the food was delicious! The grounds are very well maintained and the ground around the pools never gets hot. The concierge was very helpful, booking us a snorkeling trip and providing other helpful information. The one downfall (no fault of Las Verandas) was the no-see-ums, so bring bug spray and use it!"

"Beautiful villa stay in Roatan — we’d come back We stayed in a beautiful villa in Roatan and loved the setting from the moment we arrived. Having the pool right outside the door and an ocean view made every morning and evening feel special. It’s the kind of place you actually use, not just photograph. "Our room was way in the back on the water which is fine except we had to carry our bags way back there with no sidewalk, so no rolling of bags, carrying. There was no wifi but I was give the password to the admin wifi after I asked for it (walking back to the desk after getting to my room). I tried contacting them via Expedia to see if I could drop my bags off early. It took a few hours and several questions for them to finally reply, yes. Breakfast is only 1 option for your included breakfast....

"Horrible place nothing like the picture"

"Rooms were nice, and very clean. The staff were kind and accommodating. Restaurant service could be more prompt, and directions could be clearer, but overall, a great and convenient place to stay right by the airport."
