"The 2 bedroom 1077 sq. ft superior suite was huge, very clean, high ceilings and architecturally beautiful! The Spanish steps is very nice, restaurants and shops nearby. "Perched above Trastevere, walkable to so much but removed from the tourist chaos of the other side of the river—this was the perfect location. Having roof terrace access, great for sunset views and getting your bearings. A quiet, small top-floor property—don’t let the tiny elevator scare you off. This IS a small family-run place—no big lobby and the rooms are all right next to each other, but the rooms themselves are quiet and a great deal for being within walking distance to so much in Rome."

"I had a very bad experience from start to finish in this property.. I don't recommend it to anyone.. The property is located on the 3rd floor and the lift was Not working.. No hot water in the bathroom ( I didn't have shower for all the period I stayed there, ( I reported the problem to the cleaner who tried to fix it by herself but she couldn't ).. The toilet seat was cracked so every time I used the toilet, the toilet seat pinched my bottom and that was very painful.. No reception desk so...

"This stay was absolutely lovely!! Clean amenities, comfortable beds. Everything aside from a washing machine, that you could want on an overseas stay. The beds were comfortable, the hairdryer was actually a good one (for those ladies that have crazy hair like me) and the AC worked great! The host was fabulous and even helped us with our bags to our apartment that was a block away from the hotel location itself. Speaking of location, this is by far the best place to stay when in Rome. Trastevere...

"We really enjoyed our stay at Xenia guest house. The rooms were perfectly clean and all of the staff were super friendly. The location was ideal for walking to all of the sites, but it was also very easy to hop on a bus, train, or taxi right outside the property. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Rome!"
