"I booked the stay because of the central location. I had an early flight, and needed to have my bags held. The staff at the desk was not helpful AT ALL. I had to put my bags in the store room by myself, which I thought was unusual. I had my doubts if my bag was going to be there when I came back. But aside from that, the stay was okay. "I didn't use the Bar, or in-room food service. The coffee set up in the lobby each morning was nice and they even had my almond milk! They went above and beyond and brought a coffee machine up to my room for my last night at the hotel--wonderful! I did a do-not-disturb every other day, and when I let them back in, they left my room spotless. My husband was in the hospital and we didn't know when he would be released. "It’s so unfortunate that I have to leave this tone of a review. First this is a beautiful and chic boutique hotel. I was blown away by the architecture and atmosphere. Unfortunately during dinner I constantly saw mice running around. Bartenders confirmed that exterminators have been out but haven’t been able to resolve the issue. "The is a cute, quaint hotel with a lot of nostalgia. The rooms are very spacious, comfy beds with plenty of pillows. The location was perfect, we walked around til after 11:00 pm & felt safe. Staff was wonderful. My only comment was we were on the 3rd floor, which was “ok” for us mid 50’s. But if you have bad knees, etc I would make sure to get a room on the lower floor. Parking garage is right across from the hotel. I would definitely stay here again…"

"This is a WONDERFUL B&B in the heart of Philadelphia. We really enjoyed our stay! The staff is kind and very helpful; the rooms are beautiful and the breakfast is great!
