"Lovely staff, lovely room and really nice place."

"The breakfast was good, but let down by being a little cold. The room and hotel were very nice and well kept, but the restaurant area was incredibly cold, the windows in the conservatory area leaked air around the edges and the air con wasn’t running any heating when we were in there eating so hurried through and returned to room. "We totally enjoyed our stay. The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. I can't say enough about the breakfasts. There was a buffet of lots of fresh fruit every day, a selection of cereals, and the cooked breakfasts to order were fabulous. We aren't drinkers, so we didn't go into the pub at all. There was a minor plumbing issue one evening, and they did everything possible to rectify it that evening. Unfortunately, the plumber wasn't able to get the part till the next day, but we...

"Lovely room, warm comfy bed. Slight lack of clothes storage (some hanging space but no shelves/drawers). Expensive I know but some of the window frames need replacing. Friendly staff and great food - breakfast and dinner."

"The property was lovely. We had just come in on a trans Atlantic flight that day. We ate at the hotel that night which was really good in addition to being relaxing. They had a reserved table for us. Breakfast the next morning was very nice; fresh fruit platter then whatever breakfast you wanted. Family owned and run. The staff commented on how nice it was to work for the family."
