"The staff were all lovely, really friendly and helpful. We attended the beer school on offer in the bar and also had the shower beers. There were freebies in the room and everything else was priced so you could decide. There was free pic and mix on each level also. The room itself was lovely and very clean, heating/ air con easy to use and overall had a lovely time. "

"We stayed at the Dakota Hotel for our anniversary and while the hotel itself is undeniably stylish, there were a few disappointing aspects that didn’t match the standard being presented. "The hotel is really nice, the twin room we stayed in, although not as big as some, was cosy and well equipped. With a coffee machine and mini bar, a wide screen tv and a fabulous ultra modern wet room, it had everything we wanted in a hotel stay. Reception staff were very welcoming and efficient, and the bar was a small and intimate space to enjoy a drink. The only downside to our stay was the breakfast. The continental selection was brilliant with a wide choice of hot and cold drinks, cereals...

"The actual duplex was amazing. We had a lovely stay and really appreciated the facilities in the room. Just a few niggles! The lift was broken which I understand is unprecedented, and Kieran was lovely at offering us complimentary late check out. However, that message wasn’t communicated with other staff and were told we were late to the existing check out time, which made us a little unsure. Also, I appreciate that there is not A/C in all the rooms, but the fans available were gathering...

"I love this hotel, it’s in a great location. The studio room is the best, I love the size and layout. Clean room with a great view. This is my second time staying at this hotel and I’ll probably be back. That’s mostly down to the best hotel gym I’ve seen in a long time. Staff are OK, I don’t like that service charge is added but it is very easy to take off."

"Lovely hotel and very handy for tge station. Rooms on the small side but ok for a short stay. My only complaint is the use of paper cups in the rooms. We coukdnt pick up tge vips as they were too hot and then one of them started leaking. A couple of china mugs and some glasses for water please."
