"Very clean comfortable beds. Excellent front end staff and amazing housekeeping. They changed our towel and made our beds. Very few hotels do that these day. The hide a bed however was a little less desirable. You will have to ask for more bedding to sleep on top due to a very spring felt bed. "We spent the weekend in Kamloops and our time at the Grandview was very pleasant. We were greeted at check in by very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We had a clean and quiet room, there was an outdoor area for cooking with BBQ and picnic tables outside. The hotel itself is not a large property, but it's in more of a residential area, so it's quiet and calm. We'll definitely be staying here again!"

"The room was not as clean as it could have been and smelled of cigarettes. I had been traveling all day with my 3 year old and family and we were too tired to get the room changed but I let front staff know the next day. Sheets had random stains and so did a few towels. The continental breakfast left a bit to be desired it was just muffins and coffee and fruit. Otherwise the property was fine the staff were nice."

"The lady at the front desk is extremely smug and snobby. We chose this hotel for the hot tub because I suffer from chronic pain and needed a soak after a long drive. The pool was filled with nearly 40 teenagers screaming, hitting each other, throwing flip-flops around, cracking the towels on the water which ruptured my eardrum. No chaperone to be found. Front desk shrugged off my complaint. The next day I was on the hours-long hike that we had travelled to Kamloops for hours into the desert,...

"Excellent front desk service/information, parking by hotel. Very friendly & informative waiter in pub restaurant; dinner & dessert were delicious! Considering this hotel is very old, the room bed linens/towels etc were great! The pictures, drapes and woodwork definitely reflect a historic time. If you prefer everything new & up to date, perhaps this hotel is not your preference."

"Very accessible location with friendly staff, but that's the only thing nice I could say about this place. Very run down, and not clean. The furniture was thrwad bare, the carpet looked at least 50 years old, poor patcing and maintenance, and the soap container was literally taped to the wall (which didn't hold). There was hair all over the tub (not mine), and when I wiped a water spill off the floor, the towel was black. It was quite gross. The walls are paper thin, and you can hear everything...

"The room felt like the floor was slanted. the window that we opened was unsafe as it had no screen and it was large enough that a toddler could have crawled through and fell to their death. "

"The bedding and the bathroom were clean. The room was very run down. There was a power bar with the microwave and lamp that would not stay on. We kept having to jiggle it to make it work. You could not plug in the coffee maker as it was too far from a plug in. The carpet was dirty and there was only one curtain panel that barely covered the window. I would not stay here again. The staff was friendly and willing to help though. But I guess it is the old adage you get what you pay for."
