"The hotel was nice and had a great atmosphere. I found the staff were really helpful, friendly, and attentive. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was decent and had all the essentials that you would expect. The location is good and it is only a 20 minute walk to the centre with plenty of places to eat very close to the hotel. "Fantastic location between the Brussels Central train station and the Grand Place, both just steps away - in the heart of the main tourist area, full of shops and restaurants. Lots of stairs up to the first floor where the elevator was located but the most helpful staff carried my heavy bag both up and down with a smile. Being in an historic building, the room is awkwardly shaped but the bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. They even gave us free...

"Location, cleanliness and price are great… however, they advertise that they have air conditioning and it just does not work. There was a fan in the room when we arrived. We complained after 24 hrs that the AC wasn’t working, we were given another fan and told it “takes time” to get cool. It was over 80 degrees in the room and so uncomfortable. Probably great in the fall and winter."

"This hotel is located slightly off the beaten path for the Brussels tourist circle, but it was a good location for us (near a daily vintage market and lots of vintage clothing stores). For my usual rating points: staff: friendly and accommodating, beds: comfortable, water pressure: nonexistent :( but two out of three isn’t bad. Breakfast buffet was comprehensive if not a little oversubscribed at peak times. "
