"If I could give Gaia 10 stars, I would. The customer service is truly outstanding. We were a family of four, and after a 4-hour plane ride, a 2-hour customs line, and a 3½-hour drive from San José Airport, we arrived at the hotel completely exhausted. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and care. "Highly recommend Mountain Top Park Hotel! We traveled in a big group of 22 people and the hotel was able to fit us all. The views are spectacular. Loved having breakfast while watching the capuchins jump around the trees. We also saw spider monkeys from our balcony. Don't miss out on the complimentary morning tour! "

"Darlene “Dar” was #1 at check in and on check out. She keeps the hotel rolling!! At breakfast we chose a different 1-4 options each morning to see the difference. Each one was great, if I had to choose I’d select the pancakes with scrambled eggs. Room was always clean each day when we returned from our daily venture. Dont miss the happy hr by the pool in the garden from 4-6. "

"What an amazing vacation we had. After 5 days most of the staff had become good friends. It was sad to say goodbye to them. The location is stunning too with 180 degree views of 2 beaches. Outside our room we had a monkey highway as each morning 10 monkeys would walk across the vines outside our room. The wildlife are real happy there as we saw sloths, friendly lizards and lots of monkeys. And last but not least, the food was amazing at both restaurants. We cant wait to return!"

"We love this spot. Came here pre kid 15 ish years ago and returned with our 9 year old. There is a new building but the vibe is the same. Walkable uphill and downhill to restaurants but certainly stay and try the onsite at Sloth. The food was lovely. "

"The restaurant was great. Healthy and fresh ingredients. Great coffee and cacao desserts. The yoga classes are also amazing. Beautiful place to relax and enjoy a yoga session. Instructors are very nice and accommodating. Grounds of hotel are clean with lots of wild life. "

"Convenient location (our guide picked us from there), spacious room with all amenities, nicely decorated inside and out, secure parking right in front of the rooms, very flexible host (we arrived late and got checked in fast and he was wiling to let us check out late next day if we are not back from the tour on time).
