"The beach out the front was the highlight, amazing coral, fish and turtles. Was great as there was a stand up a paddle board, kayak and various rock shoes. Rooms are quite new, spacious and clean. Trent our host was lovely and the tuna sashimi and cocktails were the highlight. I wouldn’t say it’s is a 5 star resort as at times the food was a bit overcooked, our bedroom blind was missing and no aircon (which wasn’t an issue) so windows may be open for bugs to enter. "We experienced overall a very pleasant stay in a nice location with very helpful staff throughout. Some small maintenance items such as the pool area need attention to keep up the Resorts superior standard. Be sure you are allocated a room in the blocks along the lagoon not in the rear block up higher which is not very easy to access the pool or restaurant plus it has an inferior view. "The breakfast was pretty basic, but basically good enough. There were 4 kayaks, unfortunately 2 were missing storage covers so would likely fill with water. The other 2 did not have these storage areas so we're fine. The water is calm in this area making a paddle most enjoyable. Being a cyclists I was happy to read they had loaner bikes.
