"The hotel is clean, with pleasant reception staff and the room featured a bath tub. There are large windows overlooking rooftops and good blackout curtains, but the decor and carpets are dated. Telephone in the room was out of order and there was no shower gel in the dispenser in the bathroom. The location directly across the street from a bus stop was very handy, so was the location of a news agent just next door when I had emergency need for a new SIM card. I really regretted not having time...

"This was such a fun and unique experience. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast and the space it’s served in was lovely. We saw a Swan family with 5 babies on our last morning, incredible! I highly recommend staying here. It’s a quick 15 minute tram ride to the Royal mile , Leith Walk has lots of unique shops and lots of good restaurants nearby. So much history on the boat itself and the staff were so wonderful."
