"I had added an extra day onto my trip with Expedia, received an email receipt confirming the extra night, etc. For some reason, the hotel was not notified and expected me to check out a day early. Me showing them the updated reservation dates, as well as calls between Expedia and the hotel didn't resolve anything. The front desk said there were NO rooms available, so I had to check out immediately (no apologies for the inconveniences, etc.). As I'm checking out downstairs, my friend checks...

"I reserved a room with two beds for our family and a week before they moved the 3 of us to one king bed and made me purchase an extra room. One of our rooms was never serviced by housekeeping and the front desk does not answer the phone nor is a GM available. Our shower was a trickle of water in one of the rooms. The location however is super which is no doubt why we were treated this way at a Marriott property."

"When we went the elevators were broke down. It was very hard to climb 7 flights of stairs with a fused foot. They did give us a discount but it caused me a lot of extra pain. The hotel has been under construction for years. We expected it to be done and ready. "

"Morris Inn was clean, the staff was overly friendly and helpful. Rohrs is a wonderful restaurant/bar on premise and they also have a delightful coffe shop."

"Breakfast spread was fair. Coffee was great. Staff were doing their job and didn’t go beyond. Several staff members smoking right outside front and back door. While some of the things in the room were update - carpet, the bathtub was old, furniture was worn. I spent quite a bit of money for this weekend stay and don’t see the value. "

"The highlight was all the extra stuff at breakfast. We were very pleasantly surprised and it was delicious. My son was sad the TV was not working. We were there for a lacrosse tournament and he would have liked to watch TV after playing three games in a row. But overall it was a good experience. "

"It was a busy day when we checked in at 3:15, many rooms were not ready. We received a room and when we went to it, the door was open and the room was not fully cleaned. There were no sheets on the bed and the bathroom wasn’t cleaned. We inquired with the front and it took about 15-20 minutes before they sent someone to finish the room. After this situation, everything else was okay. "

"The place is old and needs more maintenance but the people at the front desk are great. They have breakfast included and coffee all day. Great for a short visit, in and out. They have every other day room service. If you need fresh towels just ask for them"

"Property has changed ownership and the new owners are horrible. I had made this reservation 6 months ago as soon as I purchased tickets to the Luke Combs show. The new owners refused to honor my original rate that I had reserved months ago and decided to increase the rate by over $65 the day of. It was completely unacceptable and the most ridiculous situation I've been in. the hotel was run down and not clean as the previous reviews had said. I would definitely NOT recommend this hotel now that...

"room was dirty- I have pictures of hair in/on the shower and tub and the whole tub looked discgusting, we didn't even take showers in it because it was so bad! people couldn't get checked in as the attendant left at 10 pm and phone number on door wasn't being answered, they didn't "recognize" our expedia reservation, my daughter paid for her deposit with $100 cash because that's what she had and the next morning no one was around to give her the deposit back, we had issues with the first room...
