"This is a very good hotel, well situated, comfortable generous rooms, relaxed hotel, lovely pool area and grounds, good options at the buffet, but missing a few nice to have eggs options (poached eggs, omelette). The drinks are of decent quality, and the evening and dsy entertainment was top notch. The restaurant experience was notably lacking personal service and lacked hospitality which seems to have changed since our last visit. Everyone else was courteous and professional and helpful with information or requests. The hotel has changed ownership and lost some local flavour and personality but it is a very comfortable stay while visiting the area. "

"The hotel was very close to all the local attractions, the reception is rarely manned and the €20 cash charge for checking in after 3pm is excessive The room itself was great, only downside if you needed it, there is a bidet in the room, it has running hot water,, no cold and is not plumbed into any waste pipe, so this is taped up with red and white tape"

"We had a wonderfull stay at the holiday inn Albufeira. The staff was really nice and helpful. The hotel was nice and clean, theyre renovating the inside pool and spa/gym. Good breakfast. And all this for a good price! "

"Large space and beautiful property. However, the pool we paid to get heated was not heated until the last 2 days of our stay. It was too cold to swim in the first few days. "
