"The hotel is in the perfect spot, right in the harbour. The room was massive and well equipped with a lovely view. The building is obviously extremely old which has its limitations on decor etc but we had an amazing time there. Would recommend."

"When I arrived very early, they made my check in so easy and let me have the room well before lunchtime no extra cost. The food was excellent. I had breakfast and evening meal there. Food quality, and price was good. Room was very comfortable. Very clean shower and towels were nice. Highly recommend it would definitely stay there again."

"The hotel was good but the room we has was 2 flights up with 2 very heavy fire doors. It was very hot with only a small window to a flat roof that didn't open more than 3 inches. No phone in room to communicate with reception. Nothing in the immediate area outside the hotel other than a 10 minute? very steep hill to port isaac. There was nowhere to sit and relax out of the heat other than the bar."

"It's a breath of fresh air to travel to accomodation and arrive early and to be offered afternoon tea whilst waiting for our room to be available. Jenny the host was an absolute breath of fresh air and nothing was too much for her to accommodate us. Easy parking, stunning grounds with a lovely stream running through it. "While it is nice that the hotel is right by the beach and there is wifi at the hotel, the hotel lobby and common rooms were messy and not very clean. The TV didn't work well most of the time, there is no elevator, so wheelchair access is poor. The room was not cleaned during our stay, so the rubbish piled up. I recommend you bring your own clothes hangers and face towels if needed. We had booked a room with separate beds and when we arrived, there was one single bed and the room was on the...
