"Palazzo Achates was perfect for us! It is in the center of old town on a quiet street and has been fully renovated with a beautiful modern minimalist design. I booked the last room available which, was described as small, but it was actually quite roomy and lovely. The owner answered all requests promptly and was wonderfully welcoming! He made us feel assured that the keycard entry to the hotel itself would work smoothly at any hour of the night, and it did. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

"Our stay was excellent and the Room we had selected was perfect for our needs, basically a large apartment. Location was simply amazing, with a spectacular view from the balcony of the Teatro, we even got to witness the Italian President arrive for a private event from the balcony while we were there which was really cool to say the least. Located just above a lovely cafe with all we could ask for coffee and a cornetto in the morning, drinks in the afternoon and a late night gelato if we wanted....

"there is major construction on the building. spectacular view of the ocean."

"Very easy to find, and close enough for a short walk from the train station. very clean room and very comfortable bed. A great variety of breakfast options including several freshly baked items. Mariella was very quick and responsive to any questions I had. I would stay again if I am in Palermo."

"Chambre moderne très bien située rue Maqueda. Malgré le bruit ambiant de la rue, les fenêtres étaient très étanches. Notre hôte Francesco est un ange, toujours prêt à courir pour nous aider. Très facile de communiquer avec lui sur What’s App. Les petites douceurs à notre disposition, ainsi que la machine à café dans l’espace commun furent très appréciées également. Grazie !"

"Clean, good air conditioning, well maintained. Very good value for money. Coffee machine in the bedroom much appreciate. Could leave my luggage at the place."

"Place is beautfiul an right next to restaurants and maqueda street. Its beautiful and clean. Host is responsive and considerate with our late arrival. Down the street next to souvenir shops as well. Close to all tourist locations that are walkable."

"Mariella places extreme pride in her properties. She delights in ensuring her customers are contented and able to truly enjoy time both in her apartments and Palermo. She made us feel at home."

"La ubicación es excelente. Lo que no me gustó es tener que subir 3 pisos con las maletas y que un parte de la escalera se estaba cayendo la baranda y con peligro de cortar. Pocos utensilios que apoyen dentro del cuarto."

"Lovely place to stay in Palermo. Location is awesome and very convenient:)"
