"The hotel was lovely but be forewarned that what the hotel calls a king/double bed room is a European king size which is 64 inches instead of a US king which is 76 inches wide. Hotel was gracious when we pointed it out but we were expecting a US King. Also, as is probably the case in a lot of Venetian hotels, the room was tiny, smallest room I've ever stayed in over my multiple trips to Italy, with little floor space but the bathroom was a lovely size."

"Ein wunderbarer und erholsamer Aufenthalt. Super nette Mitarbeiter, dank Carla war unser später Check-in reibungslos. Uns hat alles sehr gut gefallen, unsere Betten wurden täglich frisch gemacht. Natürlich sind die Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber wir schätzten die schönen Antiquitäten. Die Anbindung war top und die Mitarbeiter sehr nett. Wir haben uns sehr sicher und wohl gefühlt. Danke für diesen Aufenthalt, immer wieder gerne!"

"As a guest, the AC is controlled by the property management. We found we could not adjust the room temp for cooler temp when the outside is below 70F. The room was very warm some nights (higher than 70F) & made it uncomfortable to sleep some nights. "

"Perfect spot with a great view. This gem is in a quiet spot next to the canal with stunning views. The staff are incredible (shout out to William who went above and beyond to welcome us, highlight the charming hotel restaurant with breakfast included in our stay, provide us with wifi, a city map, and provided great communication and information during our stay) Our room was massive! "The Palazzetto is beautiful but sadly the Music Academy next door is under massive renovation. This does not detract from the stay as the noise isn’t awful and starts at a reasonable hour. Would stay here again as the views are just magnificent overlooking the grand canal from the living room balcony. It is a very old property so not all amenities are in working order."

"We had an excellent stay at Ca 'Pagan. It was a perfect location - short walk from water bus from the airport with other public transit and water taxi stops very close by. It was easily walkable to San Marco square (10 min) but far enough away to not be right in the chaos. There were great shops and restaurants right by the hotel. The hotel itself was beautiful, comfortable and quiet. I traveled with my 5 year old son and we had everything we needed and felt extremely welcomed by the staff....

Waking up to views of the canals and watching gondolas pass by was one of the highlights of the trip."
