"A cute little place to explore Loreto from. Close to many good restaurants, most with outdoor dining options. Great staff let us check-in very early and then helped us get a cab to the airport."

"Cute secluded stay with great views of the mountains and only a few minutes away from the beach. The grounds were beautiful with lots of flowers. Didn’t get a chance to use the pool but the water felt warm and was very clean. Enjoyed listening to and watching the birds at breakfast in the morning. Would stay here again! "

"Hotel 1697 is truly a hidden gem located right off the main plaza. This was our 4th time staying here after trying a few others in the area. The rooms are always very clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff are helpful , the breakfast is delicious, served poolside. What a great way to start your day! "
