"We went to stay at El Taj from May 7 to May 15. The property is beautiful and quiet. We booked a 2 bedroom with rooftop area. We BBQd a few times and relaxed in the shaded pallapa. I made friends with the Turtle, so that was cool. We booked our trip during Sargassum season so of course the beach was unaccessible and stinky, no fault of the hotel. Many people worked long hours everyday trying to keep up with cleaning the beach. The staff was so accommodating, giving us beach chairs...
